DETAILS
Client name: OSEAD HYDROCARBON TECHNOLOGIES
Project name: Project CITEPH and further developments
Duration: 580 man-days
Project Description
OSEAD HYDROCARBON TECHNOLOGIES (OHT) is a start-up specialized in the treatment of hydrocarbon-polluted effluents thought patented technologies. These technologies are based on an oleophilic / hydrophobic polymer which can capture hydrocarbon molecules from an effluent and release them after treatment.
DOLFINES assisted the start-up with its design and project management capabilities and its field experiment from 2013 to 2016.
Activities / Tasks and Solutions developed by Dolfines
The collaboration between OHT and DOLFINES extended on various projects and technologies developments.
The project CITEPH 28-2012 aimed at designing and field-testing a pilot-unit for the treatment of produced water. This pilot has been successfully tested in Germany in 2014.
This pilot has then been upgraded to operate for the treatment of refinery effluents.
DOLFINES also accompanied OHT in the development of its technologies through engineering studies for the industrial scale-up, both for the treatment of effluents and soils.
Project Results
DOLFINES brought its expertise on several missions, such as engineering, project management, construction follow-up, commissioning and operations. This included the production of many documents, such as specification, drawings, calculation notes, reports, schedules, etc.
