Sector: Mining and metallurgy
Client: Eramet
Requirement: To conduct an international audit campaign based on Eramet Essential Safety Requirements. This project covered 25 mining sites in 6 countries (France, Gabon, New Caledonia, Norway, Senegal, USA).
Action:
Several auditing teams were deployed to:
- Review site-specific management systems
- Interview key personnel
- Observe critical operations
- Assist in the task of developing corrective action plans
- Assist in the implementation of these action plans
Result: The development of a standardized and shared understanding of how well different sites conform to the corporate safety standards. It has also allowed for sites to used corporate guidelines as a basis for the development and deployment of safety action plans.
Sector: Oil & Gas
Client: Oxy Qatar
Requirement: full audit of its operations, to ensure that its operations were aligned with industry best practice, international and national regulations, and internal corporate OPQL standards.
Action:
A multi-disciplinary team was mobilized to cover the following operational expertise:
- Drilling operaitons
- Marine operations
- EHS in process and production
- Asset integrity management
- Emergency response and preparedness
Five senior subject matter experts were mobilized to conduct a documentary review of the management systems, interview key personnel at corporate HQ and in the field, and observe critical operations.
Result: The project led to the issuance of comprehensive audit report with a robust action plan to further improve operational performance
