Description of project
As part of its Road Safety Improvement Program, Holcim requested a third party assessment of the training providers that had been qualified by the company to provide Heavy Vehicle driving training. Aegide International was hired to assess local training providers.

This project involved the review and assessment of:

- Training materials
- Training Infrastructure
- Trainer qualifications
- Trainer competencies
An audit report was prepared providing a score that enabled the client to determine the quality of the training provider. Alongside this score our consultants provided key remedial actions and areas targeted for improvement to either meet the minimum standards required by best practices and the client or improve standards further.
Project results
Aegide International audited six training providers with varying profiles and sizes and was able to recommend two training providers to Holcim. We were able to identify three providers that were sub-standard and which did not meet minimal standards to provide effective defensive driving training.
