Description of project
ENAGAS is a Spanish energy company specialized in the gas industry which operates on the transformation, transport and storage. It is the operator of the Gaviota gas field, offshore Spain. This field has been discovered in 1980 and has produced gas until 1994. The field has since been used as gas storage facility.
The objective of the project was to perform the revamping of the drilling rig and then operate the rig for a workover campaign.

DOLFINES carried-out the complete revamping of the rig, which includes engineering, procurement, repair, maintenance, structure / piping / electrical modifications, commissioning and recertification.
Project Results
After the revamping, workover operations have been performed by DOLFINES. The rig has then been placed in cold storage conditions waiting for next operations.
