Jean Claude Bourdon is an entrepreneur. Trained as an engineer with a postgraduate diploma in business management, he has spent most of his career in the oil drilling industry. He began his career with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Schlumberger and Forasol-Foramer. His responsibilities have taken him to live and work in more than a dozen foreign countries in Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Northern Europe and the Americas. His passion for large projects and challenges has led him to manage large, technically skilled and multi-cultural teams, with several remarkable successes. He chaired Horwell, a pioneering horizontal drilling company that helped put out the well fires in Kuwait during the first Gulf War. These operational successes, achieved by the companies for which he was responsible under often difficult conditions, gave him the experience, lucidity and entrepreneurial qualities needed to create Dietswell, the forerunner of Dolfines.
